FREEDOM DISCIPLESHIP HOUSE
"At an early age, doctors diagnosed me with depression, so I believed I was depressed. It got worse as I got older and eventually the depression led me into alcohol and drugs.
I got to the point where I was pretty much done with life. Last year, at the Freedom Discipleship House, God set me free from it all. Now I walk in the new life that He has given me."
"I was born in Haiti and raised by my dad and grandmother. It was hard for me to do things growing up because of my heart condition, so my dad took me to the witch doctor who cast spells on me. In school, teachers whipped me for being late, and boys raped me because I couldn't defend myself. When I was 11 years old, I was adopted by the Oswald family in America. They treated me well, but I had all this baggage with me. I was suicidal, depressed, angry, and I blamed myself for everything that happened to me. God changed my life at the Freedom Discipleship House."
"When I was about 12 or 13 years old, my best friend who led me to the Lord a month earlier, died. This, along with other things, started my descent into darkness. As I got older, I got involved in witchcraft, the Ouija board, ghost-hunting and various other forms of witchcraft to try and contact my dead friend. As a result, a tormenting spirit got attached to me that wouldn't let me sleep. I didn't get free from it, until I came to the Freedom Discipleship House."
